The set was produced by a well respected martial artist named Jerome Mackey. Guys my age (mid 30's) don't have a clue who he is, but Jerome Mackey is world renown for his chain of Judo schools opened in New York. In fact, he was the first person to ever open a Judo school in New York way back in 1950's. He was featured in Life Magazine and numerous other publications.
One thing Jerome knows is self defense. His concept is simple, if you can get away from a dangerous situation, you can live another day.

This six video set is quite unique. It is all basic self defense techniques and how to escape a dangerous hands-on situation that anyone can use. Most self defense videos are geared towards people who are in great physical shape and have some martial arts experience. Jerome Mackey made this video set for the average person. This means anyone can watch these videos and learn to use the techniques shown. I actually learned a few things from the videos. I have trained in many things, but I was actually surprised when I picked up some new information from these videos.

I suppose the thing I like best about this video set is all the information is delivered in a slow easy to understand fashion. Each move is explained and then demonstrated by students that have just learned it themselves. This is far from your average martial arts training video, this set was designed for the average person to watch read and learn the techniques shown. I highly recommend this set.
