Here is some information gathered by my Friend and repeat international customer Peter McBride. I believe he now owns one of each baton.

16" baton. Preferred choice of security guards world wide. This is a small, compact and very maneuverable baton. Most people will find this baton easy to use and effective in close confines.

26" baton. Preferred choice of law enforcement agencies world wide. The length of the baton often acts as a deterrent to an assailant, often this is enough to prevent a physical situation.

21" baton. This baton combines many of the features of both the 16" and 26" batons. It is more suitable for the average sized person.
