The "UPG" Ultimate Police Glove
The "UPG" is a J & L exclusive. It was designed by
cops for cops. After countless interviews with police officers around
the USA, we came up with a glove that would fit virtually any officer's
need.
Original UPG Glove
The UPG3 is made with premium heavy-duty leather, has a wrist strap that
allows for better fit and quick removal and each glove has a textured
rubber grip palm to help hold onto the slimiest "perps". The
UPG3 features a Dupont Kevlar® lining
& Weighted knuckles. This was the original glove that we introduced
in the UPG line.
"If you ever wanted a weighted knuckle glove, but did
not like the dressey winter type glove that was available, then your
wait is over. The "UPG" a great looking glove fits well and feels great!"

UPG Glove Next Generation
Stop aggressors in their tracks!
Modern refinements to the original UPG Glove have produced the most advanced
SAP style gloves ever. The all new UPG "Next Generation" is
available in 2 models. You can order them with or with without Dupont
Kevlar® linings.
These new designs feature Spandex backs, leather over the knuckle and
finger area with approximately eight ounces of steel shot in each glove.
It also has raised shock-absorbing foam over the fingers double-layered
premium leather palms, and a wrist strap that allows for a snug fit and
quick removal.
The UPGNGK is the same glove as mentioned above but
with the added protection of 100% Kevlar® cut resistant protective
liners. It is perfect for searching a suspect and and offers additional
protection to the hand from blade cuts and slashes caused by items such
as knives and razors.
A note about Dupont Kevlar®
lined gloves: Kevlar® lined gloves
are cut resistant, not cut proof. This means they will help resist against
a blade cut but you will still likely be cut if you are not carefully.
They will not stop a puncture from a needle, a stab from a pointy object
or a hard slash with a sharp knife. Use caution whenever you conduct a
search. We have done extensive in-house testing, and no Kevlar®
or Spectra® lined glove is cut-proof from
any manufacturer.

Sizing Chart
Please note: Because
of the kevlar, steel shot and grip sewn into the UPG
gloves , they fit a little tighter and it is recommended that you
go one size larger than you usually wear if your normal size glove is
a snug fit. IE. if you normally wear a large and it fits
a little loose, then you order a large. If you normally wear a large and
it is snug or you can sometimes wear an X-Large, then order the bigger
size. This is not a science, it is just our suggestion to help you choose
the right size.
