Samurai Swords with Japanese Script

We have all heard of the Samurai. The term Samurai originally meant "those who serve in close attendance to nobility"

The samurai served many functions over the centuries, however, the role in which they are best known is that of warrior. The samurai were no ordinary warriors. They were very well-trained, highly skilled and spent many years of their lives perfecting everything they did. They lived by a strict warrior code called the Bushido that emphasized honor over everything else. The samurai would serve his daimyo, or master with absolute loyalty, even to the death.
The samurai was also considered a member of an elite class of people that were considered superior to common citizens and ordinary foot soldiers.

These things made the samurai stand out in his own time and is the primary reason we still talk about them today.

There was much emphasis put on Loyalty and Honor and to help remind each of us how important these attributes were and still are today, we have engraved these words in Japanese script on the scabbard of these swords. These finely crafted swords are available in the following three scripts; Samurai, Loyalty and Honor. Each sword is 40" overall and has a sharpened stainless blade with simulated temper line. White imitation rayskin handle with black cord wrap. Black finish cast metal tsuba with dragon artwork. Black finish composition scabbard and includes a wood display stand.
